Manelwatta Viharaya

Manel Watta temple is located in Bollagela, Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. Manelwatta Vihara contains 16 hectares of land. It is now mainly used for educational purposes. A free training programme for Buddhist nuns (Bhikkhuni Academy) and lectures of Pali & Buddhist Studies by Universityof Kelaniya take place on the temple ground.
